We ask you to use the usual platforms (booking.com, hotels.com etc.) to book your room in Vienna. The meeting will be in Wollzeile 1 – OCG Austrian Computing Society, in the very city centre.
Public transport is offered by the Wiener Linien, in cooperation with the Austrian Railways ÖBB and other providers – English website Wiener Linien. Tickets can be bought at machines or via the App. Please check that tickets have to be validated. Day tickets are available.
Tranport airport – City centre: We recommend Austrian Railways – S 7 or regional train – to Wien Mitte or Hauptbahnhof (man railway station); costs € 4,40 per ride. A special City Airport Train is available (the green line), slightly more comfortable but significantly more expensive. For some, depending on your hotel, the airport bus may be an option. Taxis may cost about € 40; special shuttle services are offered.
Google maps works quite well for advice. The Wiener Linien offer also online information as well as the Austrian Railways.
